My class is almost over – doing ok with it but jeez. It is so different from how I usually plan and teach! I’m learning a lot of new skills, some of which I’ll probably incorporate into my regular teaching. The class should wrap up in Friday then it’s off to Krakow and Vienna!!
But now, pics etc from the weekend 😁

They call this the Czech Grand Canyon. It’s an old limestone quarry so it’s a pretty big hole in the ground… Not quite what we think of when we hear Grand Canyon but it’s cool 😊

Then we went to Karlstejn Castle. Very, very cool. Not super original because it got rebuilt in the 1800s but still worth a visit.

Some old maps

Pretty countryside

Some reproductions, some originals, still more pretty views…

A miniature of the tower and of course a crown 😁

Some original textiles and a painting from the original tower

Castle from the outside and more scenery pics

And of course, a cave… We also went to the Koneprusy Caves. The last couple of pics are a 3-D model of the cave system. So cool! It’s a living limestone cave!
That’s all for now, more when my class is over!
